Physical Therapy

Our hands-on, individualised approach – whether it’s to get a patient back on the playing field or to recover from surgery.  


 Our staff of licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants all stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based therapy practices and techniques. So you can trust us to continue the high level of care you’ve provided for your patient. Here are some of the methods we may use during treatment after a thorough assessment of your patient’s condition.

Occupational Therapy

Our focus on helping individuals develop the "skills for living" – everything from dressing and grooming to driving and working.  


 By applying the proven techniques and latest technologies, Occupational Therapists enable individuals with physical and functional challenges to achieve as much independence as possible in their daily activities. Treatment is designed specifically for an individual's needs following a traumatic brain or spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, surgery,  and orthopedic or neurologic injury. 


OT also offers specialized treatment for hand and upper extremity conditions, such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, tendinitis, fractures, strains/sprains and arthritic pain. We also offer incontinence training

SpeechTherapy


Our care includes dysphagia therapy, aphasia therapy, voice therapy and cognitive therapy.

All stages of intervention include comprehensive assessments of speech, language, functional communication and cognitive disorders. Specialized evaluations ands treatments for dysphagia, voice disorders and augmentative communication are also available. At all levels of care patients are involved in treatment planning and setting functional, realistic goals for themselves. Input from family and caregivers are also used to facilitate the best outcomes.
